- Description: How did the Apollo astronauts capture such beautiful and perfect photos on the moon? They were in a studio, argues Massimo Mazzucco, adding that there is no plausible way the official pics were snapped on the lunar surface.

Massimo Mazzucco is an Italian documentary filmmaker who specialises in controversial and alternative narratives, particularly those challenging official accounts of major events.

[His website](https://www.massimomazzucco.net/?ref=jermwarfare.com) is in Italian, unfortunately. But you can use a translation tool or whatever.

His filmography includes several provocative documentaries such as

- *The New American Century,* which is about 9/11,
- *September 11: The New Pearl Harbor* (2013),
- *Cancer: The Forbidden Cures* (2010),
- *The True History of Marijuana* (2010), and
- *American Moon* (2017).

*American Moon* is what our podcast episode is about. It's probably the best documentary, about the moon landing, I've ever seen.

More specifically, the Apollo missions and, even more specifically, the photos allegedly taken on the moon.

> According to my recent research, however, there were no live TV broadcasts of either Apollo 11 or Apollo 12\. If true, this means that the incredible space achievement we watched was a ghastly, ghostly joke perpetrated by those masters of the hoax — NASA.

> — Ralph Rene, author of 'NASA Mooned America'

*American Moon* examines the authenticity of NASA's photos and presents evidence both for and against the moon landings, which is why it is excellent.

Massimo is a highly experienced photographer who understands not only all aspects of photography, but also the inner workings of Hasselblad.

> The numerous inconsistencies clearly visible in the Apollo photographic account are quite irrefutable. Recent research indicates that the errors evidenced were deliberately planted by individuals determined to leave clues to the faking in which they were unwillingly involved.

## 🎙️ Podcast episode

Massimo spent most of this conversation discussing the photos, but also touched on the voice communication between Earth and the moon, as well as a few other anomalies.

This episode was recorded for my [UK Column podcast](https://www.ukcolumn.org/series/jerm-warfare?ref=jermwarfare.com).
