# The first journalist to challenge the HIV/AIDS narrative

[Celia Farber](https://celiafarber.substack.com/) made waves, back in the 80s, as a journalist by challenging the mainstream HIV/AIDS story.

She worked at SPIN magazine and dug into the science behind it all. Her big push was questioning the evidence health officials kept repeating. She highlighted issues with the drug AZT, calling out its dangers.

Celia also spotlighted Fauci's trials on kids, babies, and pregnant women. This bold stance set her apart in alternative reporting circles.

I say "bold" because going against Big Pharma is dangerous.
