The conventional food pyramid is nonsense. I mean, they tell us that bread is the healthiest thing to eat.
Are they drunk? 😂

Carbs are completely unnecessary—your body runs better on fat, and glucose is a backup, not a requirement.
— Gary Taubes, science journalist and author
Here's the truth.
If you only eat bread, you'll have all sorts of weight and health issues. On the other hand, if you only eat meat, you won't have any weight or health issues.
Why?
Because meat is nutrient-dense and bread isn't.
Pretty simple.

It's all wrong
The pharmaceutical industry and governments have been feeding us lies about nutrition for decades, all in an effort to keep us unhealthy and dependent on their products and services.
For example, starch and carbohydrates, in general, are unnecessary, while saturated fats and proteins are very necessary.
Carbs are a nutritional myth—humans thrived without them for millennia, and they’re toxic in excess.
Eric Westman, physician
But the media won't tell you that because journalists have become establishment hack jobs who don't care about truth.

She busts a lot of dietary myths:
Energy intake does not equal energy expenditure, and consuming fewer calories will not necessarily result in weight loss, as weight gain is determined by the amount of fat stored in the body rather than the number of calories consumed. Our understanding of cholesterol has been entirely mistaken; saturated fat does not contribute to heart disease, and fat does not obstruct our arteries. Fruit is contributing to the obesity epidemic.
