Born Nzube Udezue, Zuby’s parents are Nigerian, he was born in Britain but they lived in Saudi Arabia for two decades, where he went to an international school (hence his American accent) and they attended church weekly.

That last bit is important.

Being a Christian in Saudi Arabia was not an issue, he explained to me, as long as Christians understood that it’s a Muslim country, not a Christian one, which is an entirely reasonable expectation.

We aren’t seeing the converse in Europe, sure, but the variables are quite different. Asian and Arab countries generally strive to preserve their religious, cultural and national identities, while European (and, by extension, Western) countries often seem determined to erode theirs (through open-border policies and mass immigration frameworks).

Simply compare France to China.

The former is a shadow of what it once was.
