RFK Jr.’s argument is that the chaos and fear — which Mattias Desmet, a professor of clinical psychology at Ghent University, refers to as "free-floating anxiety" — during the COVID era were exploited to normalise extreme measures like lockdowns, digital IDs, and mass surveillance.

He explains it all in his book, The Real Anthony Fauci, which (as I type this) holds over 27,000 ratings and a 4.8-star average, on Amazon.
He goes on to say that, with populations distracted and compliant, infrastructure like 5G was rolled out covertly — for example, in schools under the cover of disinfection crews. 5G isn’t just about faster phones; it’s the nervous system for a surveillance state, enabling real-time facial recognition, biometric monitoring, and smart city control grids that link physical movement to digital identity.
Meanwhile, central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) are the financial counterpart — 'programmable money' that can expire, be restricted by category, or block purchases entirely. Unlike cash, every transaction is trackable and potentially punishable.
For example, the Canadian government froze protest donors’ bank accounts, showing exactly what’s possible. CBDCs would make this kind of financial censorship automatic and universal.
In a nutshell, there was (and is) a coordinated shift toward a technocratic control grid:
- health emergencies justify emergency powers,
- 5G enables physical surveillance, and
- CBDCs enable economic obedience.
He covers a lot of ground, and his book is worth reading.
Fauci’s a fraud—he’s spent decades peddling bad science, from AIDS to COVID, and his hands are stained with millions of lives lost to his arrogance.
