Since the 1960s, propaganda has been used to discourage discussion around most big events, from JFK's assassination to the Apollo missions and, recently, the Covid scam.

Following growing public doubt over the Warren Commission's conclusions on JFK's assassination, the CIA issued a comprehensive directive to its stations: weaponise the term 'conspiracy theory'.

To be clear, the general public did not believe the official story that a lone gunman, Lee Harvey Oswald, killed JFK.

Even attorney Mark Lane, who was involved in the case, said the whole thing was nonsense and that the truth was being covered up.

Trump's 'JFK files' released

In March 2025, the American president released the 'JFK files' through the National Archives.

But don’t get too excited.

It’s mostly a limited hangout, meaning the truly important details remain undisclosed.

Obviously.

Everything will only be revealed once all those involved are dead.

• Many of the files aren’t new; much has been known for years, such as the references to Gary Underhill and his suspicious death.
• Beyond vague statements, there’s no clear indication of who was behind it.
• The CIA and other groups were still allowed to redact—or black out—sections they didn’t want revealed, particularly details involving Israel and possibly other sensitive Cold War matters.
• The files still seem to point to Oswald, which I suspect is deliberate.
