Max Fomitchev-Zamilov is a Russian-born nuclear physicist, scientist, and entrepreneur based in Florida, and the founder of Maximus Energy Corporation.
He holds a PhD and specialises in nuclear fusion, radiation detection, and experimental physics.

Max appeared on the Danny Jones Podcast in November 2025, where he discussed his theories about ancient civilisations using advanced nuclear technology, which is what caught my attention.
His research into ancient Egyptian ceramics led to the 'nuclear machining hypothesis', based on his study of predynastic stone vessels (vases, jars, and those sorts of things) and their precision.
He proposes that ancient Egyptians might have used nuclear energy and advanced techniques, such as 'alpha blades' coated with polonium-210 to cut through granite, or 'beta blades' that saturate materials with electrons to soften stone.
